If by ‘technology’ we mean anything that can help us solve practical problems, how useful is it to art? Artists of every era have made use of more or less advanced technological tools to produce their works, explore new horizons, shift limits and force reality to reveal new paths. From Parmigianino’s mirror to Brunelleschi’s perspective, passing through the discovery of photography and the birth of cinema, up to Emilio Vavarella’s multimedia installations: an itinerary and a workshop dedicated to children from 7 to 11 years old, to discover how technology every day can allow us to transform what seems impossible into possibility.
Age range: 7-11 years
Duration of the lab: 2 hours
Maximum number of participants: 20
