The evocative location of the Aula Magna of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna will host four music stations, where the students of the Electronic Music course of the G.B. Martini Conservatory of Bologna will perform sound and musical improvisations. The musical performance will interact with the projections and video mappings created by students of the Academy’s Computer Graphic course. The result: an immersive riot of synaesthetic sensorial experience; an “audiovisual party”, born from a shared training and didactic idea between the students of Bologna’s two historical art institutions.

Inspired by the ideas of the great British pioneering composer Cornelius Cardew and his ‘scratch music’, the performance is oriented towards modes of production and fruition of artistic actions (sound, visual, gestural). Completely free and aimed at the co-presence of artistic aggregations and expressions rather than parameters of formal restitution.
